Flemington-Raritan School District's Joint PTOs are excited to host the Harlem Wizards on Friday, February 7th at JP Case Middle School! The event has sold out!

Join us for the 2nd annual Parents' Night Out Comedy Show on Friday, February 7th at Federal Twist Vineyard in Stockton, NJ (about 25 minutes from Barley Sheaf). Last year's sold-out event was so much fun, we decided to host another one, at a new location! Federal Twist Vineyard has a brand-new tasting room for our event! 

The event will consist of a host and three professional comedians. You can begin arriving around 6:15 pm. The comedians will be on from 6:30 pm to about 8:30 pm.

After the whirlwind of holiday-fun, you deserve some time for yourself! 

*Wine will be for sale by the glass & by the bottle. Sangria carafes also available for purchase. Prices vary.
*Sprite, Coke, Diet Coke, & seltzer - $2 each and bottled water - $1 each
*No outside alcohol allowed as per ABC.
*No outside water, soda, or personal water bottle, Yeti, Stanley, travel tumbler, etc. 

Food is "BYOF - Bring Your Own Food": Have fun with it! Last year people brought pizzas, appetizers of ALL kinds, Chinese food, sushi, desserts, etc.!

Pick up will be in the front of Barley Sheaf School on February 12th from 4pm - 6 pm or during the PTO meeting at 7pm. Any orders that are not picked up on February 12th will be donated. A portion of each sale will be donated back to Barley Sheaf PTO.

We are excited to announce that after our successful Winter Family Craft events, Creative Whimsies' Kids Art Studio will be offering another holiday themed craft event for Barley Sheaf families on February 8th and 9th from 5:00 - 6:00 pm!

$30 per pillow, with 20% of sales going back to the Barley Sheaf PTO.

We are so excited to host the second Reading is a Dream event this year, and it wouldn't be possible without the support of the amazing Barley Sheaf teachers and staff! Teachers and Staff are so excited to read to everyone! Make sure to come dressed cozy in your pajamas!  

Reading is a Dream will be on Thursday, February 27th at 6:30 pm. This is a free event, open to all Barley Sheaf families! Advanced sign-up is required to ensure that we do not overcrowd any one classroom. Spaces are limited to 15 students/families per classroom.

Please sign up for TWO classrooms: ONE during the first timeslot (6:45 - 7:15 pm) and ONE during the second timeslot (7:20 - 7:50 pm). You will visit both your selections, switching to the second classroom after about 25-30 minutes.

If you have more than one child in Barley Sheaf who may want to visit different classrooms, that is fine: You can sign them each up for their chosen classrooms, as long as there is one parent/guardian with him/her at all times. Children will not be able to be "dropped off" in classrooms. We appreciate your understanding that parents/guardians must remain with their child(ren) during this event.

Join us at the Frenchtown Roller Rink for a morning filled with skating and fun with all of our Barley Sheaf Families! 

Tickets are $8 per skater (presales) or $10 cash at the door. The concession stand will be open for snacks and drinks (no outside food or drinks permitted). 

Skate rentals are $2 and roller blade rentals are $3 CASH ONLY. Skate rentals can be made and paid for at the roller rink.
