SUBJECT: November PTO Newsletter

At Barley Sheaf, the PTO is excited to bring community-building activities and support for Barley Sheaf students, families, caregivers, and staff!
Next PTO Meeting

Join us for the second PTO meeting of the year on Wed., November 1st at 7:00 pm in the school library. We'll be talking about the December 1st Parents' Night Out [at a local restaurant/establishment] and would LOVE your ideas/input!

ALL are welcome! After speaking with many wonderful families this year, we’ve learned that sometimes people do not come to the meetings because they think it is for PTO board members or committee chairs only. This is not the case!

We’d love to have any and all parents/guardians attend the meetings to hear what has been going on this year, to see what’s coming up, to share your ideas, or to find out how to get more involved.

We are always looking for more support, whether you'd like to chair a committee, volunteer for an event in person, or even just volunteer from home in planning/prepping for an event!

Hope we see you there!

Halloween Costume Drive

Thank you to everyone who donated costumes for the Halloween Costume Drive! Your generosity was greatly appreciated, and we know it put smiles on so many friends' faces for this Halloween!

Also, "Amazing job!" to Faith, the 4th Grade Barley Bear, who came up with and coordinated this costume drive!

Halloween Parade

The Barley Sheaf Halloween Parade will take place on Tuesday, October 31st at 2:00 pm. Students should come to school in their regular clothes, with their Halloween costume in a labeled bag. Students will exit the building near the gym doors onto the blacktop, walk around the blacktop, and reenter the building by the Main Office. All family members and friends are welcome to attend to view the parade.

In the event of rain, the parade will take place inside of the building with only Barley Staff and Students.
